Just repeating that Trump heard about a Wikileaks release is meaningless, when Trump heard about it a month after it was publicly announced.

So, the Trump Tower meeting is one of the basis for all this and in part because as Cohen was meeting with Trump, Donald Jr. Comes into the office and whispers to his dad that “the meeting is all set” which Trump replies, “ok that’s good”.
I would assume both Trump and Junior spend hours every day “meeting” with people of all kinds. So what would have been wrong with asking Cohen how he knew they were referring to the Tower/Russia meeting and if he was aware of how many meetings per day Trump had. My Lord, it could have been a meeting Junior was setting for that day, right after Cohen left and just giving Trump a hurry up.
