In the Fremont neighborhood of Seattle (because, duh, its Seattle) stands a 16 foot tall statue of communist revolutionary and innovator of mass starvation and firing squads, Vladimir Lenin. Republican lawmakers in Washington have now introduced a bill to study and make recommendations on an appropriate historical figure to replace the statue of Lenin, and to represent the state of Washington.

Washington State has Republicans?
It is hideous that it was installed in the first place. My Russian grandmother despised the commies and so do I.
Wow, I didn’t know there was a statue of Lenin in Seattle. Was it there a couple years ago? That’s the only time I was ever there. Now that I know about it, if I ever make it back to that city, I will be sure to look it up and take a long enjoyable piss on it.
I’ve been to Trier Germany a few times, wonderful city with Roman architecture, Roman bathes and even a coliseum where they had gladiator fights. They erected a statue of Marx there a few years back since it’s his birth place. I have it on my bucket list if I ever make it back to Trier to take a piss on that statue as well.
They could put statues of barqy, Hillary, and CNN
I’m from Seattle I believe it’s been there awhile I think it’s in Fremont
Can we leave dismantling statues to the fascist left? What do I care if there’s a statue of Lenin in a communist city?

I think they are spot on the money.
And that statue of Pancho Villa needs to be removed from Arizona.
Don’t take it down - have fun with it. Paint a dress on it. Make it the centerpiece of a carousel, with pigs and asses for the children to ride on. Turn it into a fountain that pisses into it’s own mouth.
Whereas I fully believe there is a statue of Lenin in Seattle (and probably statues honoring che guacomole, or whatever his name was), I don't believe there are 1) any Republicans or 2) lawmakers there.
Exactly.
This isn’t the behavior of a party that believes in freedom.
Besides, that statue tells us all we need to know about Seattle...
It’s been there at least 37 years...I remember walking around it while at a market there in about 1982
That statue is in the perfect spot in that city. For those who care, here it is via google maps street view:
Put another monument right next to it documenting the victims of Communism.

I concur with your view. Here in Pittsburgh a statue of Stephen Foster was removed because songs he wrote in the 1850’s are today deemed “racist”.
If we can tear down statues of American soldiers and icons like John Wayne, we need to tear down one of a murdering commie ‘RAT. Tear it down!
