"Conservatives call out Berkeley police for lack of arrest one week after campus assault on activist"
The head of a conservative activist group says it is shocking that no arrest has been announced in connection with an alleged assault last week on a conservative activist on at the University of California-Berkeley.
The incident, which was captured on videotape, occurred as the activist, Hayden Williams, was manning a recruiting table for Turning Point USA, a conservative organization.
On Friday, the university police announced that they had identified a suspect, adding that he was not a student or affiliated in any way with the university. But the announcement did not name the man, whose face was clearly captured on video.
“This is really surprising,” Charlie Kirk, the founder and executive director of Turning Point USA, told Fox News Tuesday. “From what I understand there’s been no arrest. I don’t understand why there’s no public arrest file on this guy. If he had been wearing a Make America Great Again hat and had punched a liberal in the face there’d be nationwide outrage and a manhunt to find him. The whole thing is crazy.”
On Tuesday, the media relations office for UC-Berkeley told Fox News there were no updates in the case. The UC-Berkeley police department website’s most recent update is from Friday. After several efforts to contact the public information officer for the police department, Fox News was told he was out sick, and that there were no updates to report.

1. They have a PERFECT photo of him
2. He’s in AntiFa
3. He was arrested in Berkeley a year ago
Come on, the Mayor has “suggested” to the cops that they NOT be able to find him.

They will just ignore it like we all knew they would. Waiting for it to go away and die of it’s own volition...................
That’s why they attack so openly.. they know there are no repercussions for assault against Trump supporters.
It would be nice if we prosecuted these offenses and perhaps that would be a disincentive.
Let me guess...if he would’ve tried to fight back he’d be in Supermax.

All it will take is one conceal carrier to take a punk out-—it will never happen again.
They need to hire a private eye; gather all the evidence and then sue the police for not acting.
The best picture of the guy was astounding, every bit as good as my most recent passport photo, net even any glasses. That made it perfect for digital facial recognition. Indeed, that’s probably what the Berkeley PD did, since they say they say they’ve identified him. But—no arrest and no public identification. Something serious is wrong; time to call in the US DOJ (also time to ROTFLOD at the jpoke).
These sorts of scuffles will seem quaint, in retrospect, when the commies decide to get serious.
