[By way of background I possess an earned Ph.D. in Biblical Studies, a M.A. in the New Testament and a B.A. in Bible.]

You must have skipped class when they taught on JOEL 2...

Then Peter stood up with the eleven, lifted up his voice, and addressed the crowd: “Men of Judea and all who dwell in Jerusalem, let this be known to you, and listen carefully to my words. 15 These men are not drunk as you suppose. It is only the third hour of the day! 16 No, this is what was spoken by the prophet Joel:

JOEL 2:17-21
17 ‘In the last days, God says,
I will pour out My Spirit on all people.
Your sons and daughters will prophesy,
your young men will see visions,
your old men will dream dreams.
18 Even on My menservants and maidservants
I will pour out My Spirit in those days,
and they will prophesy.
19 I will show wonders in the heavens above
and signs on the earth below,
blood and fire and billows of smoke.
20 The sun will be turned to darkness,
and the moon to blood,
before the coming of the great and glorious Day of the Lord.
21 And everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.’

The passage you cited from Joel has absolutely nothing to do with Donald Trump, zero, zip, nada.

There was a "blood moon" last month. Unlike the supernatural events prophesied in Joel, they are a NATURAL PHENOMENON that happen periodically and are EASILY PREDICTABLE, thus making your taking this passage in Joel out of context and the author's taking a natural phenomenon and drawing erronious conclusions ridiculous on their face.

The Word of God gives plenty of warnings about the proliferation of "false prophets" in the last days. The Apostle Paul also stated that:

"The time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but wanting to have their ears tickled they will accumulate fir themselves teachers in accordance to their own desires." (2 Timothy 4:3)

This pastor is woefully ignorant of Scripture, Biblical prophecy and mistaken in his conclusions. Unfortunately, many Christians today lack spiritual discernment and are so spiritually blind and gullible that they can be readily seduced, taken in and deceived.

One can literally make Scripture say anything they want it to if they maliciously rip a passage out of its context and twist it to fit their preconceived narrative and conclusions. This is exactly what this "pastor" has done.
