Pretty sure the critics of the 2nd amendment DO NOT misunderstand it at all. They would love to follow in chavez' footsteps and disarm those who choose to honor the 2nd amendment by keeping and bearing arms. It ain't about hunting and target shooting. Burnee and sandy O's paradise. No thanks. I don't think the Venezuelans had a 2nd amendment. Anyone? Buehler?

It is interesting to consider similar populations (geographically, not religious) with different results. I’m sure that the Kurds and Chechens know of the Armenian experience in the early 20th century.
