UCC (United Church of Christ) has been at the forefront of liberalism for decades. They used to be very pious, and trace their lineage back to the Pilgrims. Some of them even still used “The Pilgrim Hymnal” as their songbook.
However, this is NOT the 17th Century Congregational Church.
