There is, no doubt, some of that.

It is important to note the study is about self-identified conservatives and liberals.

About a third of voters identify as "independents".

Independents are more likely to vote the way the media tells them to.

"Moderate" in NJ means they favor re-education camps for you instead of a bullet in the back of the neck.
