Sorry but from experience, homosexuels didn’t get beat on just because they were queer.

We made fun of the few known homosexuels in out school(rather rural redneck school, btw) But no punches ever got thrown. None.

Lee Daniels is gay himself. The show's co-creator, Danny Strong surprisingly isn't, or so we're told. If anybody associated with the show would have gotten beaten up I would have thought it would have been Danny, who usually played the weaselly, annoying guy on shows like Buffy, Gilmore Girls and Mad Men
