It's a mistake to write her of as a dope. Sure she is but all commies are dopes or they wouldn't believe that kindergarten level fantasy about sharing the world. That doesn't mean they cant and won't line you up against a wall and put a bullet in you, which they do pretty much every time they get power. And if they mobilize enough thuggish sheep, history tells us that they can gain power one way or the other.
Still, if that’s true that doesn’t take into account that Crowley was caught sleeping and lost his seat. I give AOC that credit for taking an opportunity like that and winning. Even if she did get outside help, it’s still hard to defeat an establishment politician, especially a Democrat.
You are giving credit to the wrong person. She was a bartender. She didn't figure it out. She's being used.

To come out of nowhere, defeat a ranking member of her party, and become the architect of democrat party policy in a couple of years is nothing short of remarkable.

I agree. She has already pissed off the mayor of NYC, the governor of New York State and most of the other representatives from NYC. I have seriously considered making a contrution to her campaign. She is doing a better job than most republicans in New York. She has an overinflated ego and a motor mouth that will not shut up.
Now that AOC has her own comic book, i think it’s time she has her own game, namely, “Find AOC!” ...
It’s a lot easier when you have 4% turnout for elections.

The co-sponsor of her new green deal, Senator Ed Markey (D Mass) has not lived in mass since the 70s. His listed Mass address for decades was n his childhood bedroom in mom and dads house. I am no t sure if he even owns property in Mass
Congress pensions don’t vest until completion of 5 years.
She needs to be elected 2 more times.
Senators are vested after one term.
She has a house in the Bronx.
Her father owned it. He died. She and her boyfriend lived there rent free.
Crowley was used up....they just took advantage of it as they are doing in placing their candidates.
