Actually no: Patrick Moore (born 1947) is a businessman, nuclear lobbyist, environmental consultant and former president of Greenpeace Canada.

After leaving Greenpeace, Moore has criticized the environmental movement for what he sees as scare tactics and disinformation, saying that the environmental movement "abandoned science and logic in favor of emotion and sensationalism"

He is a co-founder of CO2 Coalition, a nonprofit conservative think tank organization in the United States. It was established in 2015 with a focus on advocacy for environmental skepticism of climate change issues, predominantly arguing for the benefits of CO2 to the environment and disputing mainstream scientific opinion on climate change. The organization is viewed as the successor to the George C. Marshall Institute.

The CO2 Coalition was one of over 40 organizations to sign a letter dated May 8, 2017, to president Donald Trump thanking him for his campaign promise to withdraw from the Paris Climate agreement, an action Trump announced 3 weeks later on June 1, 2017.

Actually you need to look a little closer into this. “Dr. Moore is a co-founder of Greenpeace and served for nine years as President of Greenpeace Canada and seven years as a Director of Greenpeace International. As the leader of many campaigns Dr. Moore was a driving force shaping policy and direction for 15 years while Greenpeace became the world's largest environmental activist organization.”

So look a little closer. The current group of lefty globalists who wrestled control from those that started the group and were instrumental in bringing it to international fame have made every attempt to distance themselves Patrick Moore. This explains the reason why you left out the fact that he was a Director of Greenpeace International for seven years and repeated the party line about his history. The truth is more involved than how the commies currently in charge of Greenpeace characterize his history there.

The details can be found in his books. Here is the Amazon description of his book, “Confessions of a Greenpeace Dropout: The Making of a Sensible Environmentalist”.

Confessions of a Greenpeace Dropout: The Making of a Sensible Environmentalist is Dr. Patrick Moore's engaging firsthand account of his many years spent as the ultimate Greenpeace insider, a co-founder and leader in the organization's top committee. Moore explains why, 15 years after co-founding it, he left Greenpeace to establish a more sensible, science-based approach to environmentalism. From energy independence to climate change, genetic engineering to aquaculture, Moore sheds new light on some of the most controversial subjects in the news today
