The entire church hierarchy has been hiding and protecting predatory pedophile priests for decades.
Moving them around to unsuspecting parishes so they could prey again.
This is a very sick institution.
It’s clear that so long as he is Pope the Church is not going to get serious about solving these problems.
Leaving those of us who are Catholic with some very difficult choices to ponder.

The criticism of improper sexual practices by the clergy should be constant until the Church faces the problem head-on instead of continuing to play it down, cover it up where possible, and make a few symbolic moves only when it’s too blatant to ignore.
Excellent point. If a person is driving a bus towards a cliff, he must constantly be reminded of that until he actually changes direction.
The criticism is to the heirarchy of the church...to all those who hid the homosexuality and the abuse. paid off the victims besides and let those priests continue on the same path....cuz you know damn well that they didn’t stop their “ways” after being caught.
I’d love to see buttons made (for traditional Catholics who want them) that read “I’m A Friend Of The Devil”.
