And how will they decide who was affected by slavery anyway?
Will they force DNA tests so they can trace everyone’s roots to determine if they descended from slaves and/or plantation owners?
My relatives in WV probably felt like slaves themselves, most being farmers of hilly acres or coal miners. Most had 6 or more kids and struggled to feed them. No one could afford to feed even one slave. Ridiculous.
I understand that; the West (by God) Virginia side of my family put on blue uniforms in the 1860’s, and killed the hell out of their flat lander Virginia cousins in that war.
