** (Disclaimer: This video content is intended for educational and informational purposes only) ** Napa County Sheriffs investigators released a stunning body cam video Wednesday of a fatal weekend deputy-involved shooting of an armed suspect on a rural roadway. On the video from a camera worn by Sheriffs Deputy Riley Jarecki, the suspect can be seen sitting in his car as the deputy approached the vehicle. Jarecki asked the suspect if she can look around to make sure there are no weapons or suspicious items inside. She tells the suspect Javier Hernandez Morales not to move. As she walks around the car, Jarecki taps on the drivers side window and asks Morales to roll it down several times before it appears he is responding. He rolls down the window, quickly pulls out a gun and fires a shot at Jarecki, who returns fire several times.
They’ll find a way to make her look like a murderer.
Oh I’m sure. The perp was an illegal, twice deported, so the scum will pin it on the President’s draconian immigration policies for making him take such actions.

"Robertson said his department uploaded the video online to show the public how quickly such encounters turn violent and because some people may be skeptical of the departments account of how things played out.
He also noted that a new law will go into effect this July mandating the release of body camera footage in officer-involved shootings within 45 days unless doing so would interfere with the investigation."
Sounds like a good law to me.
Dirty, sneaky Ba$tard... I cannot comprehend how our Law Enforcement approaches a car every day on the job and deal with the potential of something bad happening.
she should have reloaded...
when someone takes the first shot... make it his last...
Sounded like he got off three or four shots, she got off about 15.
Shoot, Move, Communicate. ( yeah, the Infantry Schools at Benning and Lejeune teach that too)
She did very well. She reacted by getting her sidearm into play while moving off the line of fire, continued to engage a lone perp until she was certain he was no longer a threat. Great tactical skills in this instance.
Now, mag dumps have their place tactically, and in this situation she was doing just fine, however, mag dumps are risky business in high density non-threat environments, so think as you act- often, precision fire is called for vice suppressive.
Especially for all of us non-LEOs, we are not covered by any immunity considerations. Every bullet fired is a murder charge waiting for you and a potential dead innocent.... That is why we ought to practice mixing up how many rounds we fire when we are doing drills, sometimes only one is appropriate, other times, more than one, but never limit your practice options to a certain round count- like two to the body, one to the head/hip etc, you do not want that to be automatic, remember, front sight, front sight, press....( repeat AS NECESSARY)!
A drill I use is to place a balloon or even three , about the size of a grapefruit on the cardboard silhouette and make that the “stop” signal. Sure, we all can hit that balloon with careful fire, but speed it up and even at 5-7 10 yards, it my take 2, three or even five rounds fired at combat speed to pop it, while you move off line to cover.
Well done, Officer. Now learn to live after it. Peace.
It appears the cop kept her cool and wasted the POS Dreamer. Good shootin’!
She removed what looked to be a potential Democrat voter.
