She is not very intelligent. She got where she is because she was attractive, young and backed by a pretty good organization. (I think they chose a bad candidate to back. But, time will tell.)
Her problem is, like most people who are not particularly intelligent, she doesn’t know what it is that she doesn’t know. Like the young man who recently decided so steal a private jet so he could attend a rap concert in a distant city; he said, “How hard can it be? You push a few buttons.” (Her statement on how they should spend the Amazon tax relief is on par with the man stealing a jet.)
She is claiming everyone else believes the debate should be about her lack of understanding vs. discussing the merits of the deal, which is where she wants the conversation focused.
I could see the point (if she had one), but she is dumb as a post.
Someone here posted calling her ‘alexandria occasional cortex’ now every time I see or read about AOC thats what it translates into,

I think people miss what exactly this woman is. She is the walking talking embodiment of the college campus in its exported form.
On the campus students are no longer educated in the areas that they study, i.e. economics. Oh no, that is just a mask for a larger indoctrination. That is nothing new. It used to be, however, that once the indoctrinated students graduated, all their “safe spaces,” “triggering,” and other emotional training was useless. They would get crushed by the world of reality and facts. It was time to grow up or die on the vine.
No longer. The left is now exporting the campus to our world. AOC and her ilk show that. When cornered by facts, she responds with every cliched “emotional based” defense she was indoctrinated with. She comes off as a petulant child.
