Man sentenced to 10 months in jail after filming women at an Austin Forever 21

A man arrested and charged nearly two years ago on one count of invasive visual recording was sentenced by a judge Tuesday to 10 months in state jail. In March 2017, the man used his cell phone to record women changing their clothes in the dressing room at the Forever 21 store in Barton Creek Square Mall. According to the affidavit for his arrest, Martin Ammerman, 42, had more than 60 videos and 100 pictures of women in various stages of undress on his phone when Austin Police encountered him. He bonded out of the Travis County Jail shortly after his arrest. Until last month, the case was set to go to a jury trial. However, during jury selection, Ammerman decided to plead guilty to the indictment and allowed the judge to decide his punishment. Prosecutors asked the judge that Ammerman be sentenced to a year in jail. The defense asked the judge for probation and no jail time. During the 2017 incident, a Forever 21 employee told officers she recognized Ammerman as the same person who spent about an hour shuffling around a fitting room Monday.

Liberal Austin judge slapped him on the wrist. Sick perv needed 10 months for each of the 100 pictures.

Part of the plea deal probably involved the guy agreeing to text the pics and videos to the judge.

Your article explicitly says the prosecution asked for one year in jail, and the defense no jail and probation. The judge basically gave the prosecution what they wanted.

Am I missing something? How did he gain access to the dressing room? Were they free-standing stalls for use by either women or men?

Fifteen years ago, I started seeing unisex dressing rooms with little saloon type swing louvered doors around Austin.

I’ve told this story about our experience in Kohl’s about a man in the women’s dressing room sitting there with his door open watching as females came and went. I had our daughter in there shopping for the new school year so figured he timed his perversion. I told a couple of employees and they looked at me like I’d grown horns and did nothing. That was the last time I will ever set foot in a Kohl’s.

A man? An actual male who didn't play the trans card?

That’s terrible. I haven’t come across unisex dressing rooms in a store yet. Any store that makes its dressing rooms unisex is just asking for trouble (imho).

Liberal Women as an American demographic have been socially re-engineered and are ripping the country apart.

He looks like a sub-human.

After Ammerman serves 10 months with the Texas Department of Criminal Justice, or TDCJ, he’ll be a free man. There is no type of parole equivalent for state jail cases. He won't be required to register as a sex offender, either because under state law, the charge doesn't require registration.

Sounds like Texas is a pervert friendly state.

Each identifiable woman should have been given a swat at the SOB, on YouTube.

Amazon, Apple, Siri, Google, Alexa, Facebook, Samsung; these globalist folks film your young naked daughters in your own home whenever they can.

Criminal charges though are for the little guy, I guess.
