The lead investigator and long term Houston Police Department undercover narcotics Officer Gerald Goines lied to obtain a no-knock warrant. The no-knock warrant lead to the death of a middle-aged couple, their dog, and the wounding of four officers, at 7815 Harding Street on 28 January 2019. From abc13.com:
The search warrant clearly shows the initial information used to obtain the no-knock search warrant involved a number of lies.
In the original warrant obtained on Jan. 28, the lead case agent, Officer Gerald Goines, wrote that a confidential informant bought heroin at the house the day before the drug raid. The informant also allegedly saw heroin and a weapon, which appeared to be a 9mm handgun, as he was buying the suspected drugs at the house.
In that warrant, the informant allegedly returned to Goines with a brown powder substance, telling him that it was called boy, which is slang for heroin. The confidential informant also said the substance he allegedly bought at the home was packed in a large quantity of plastic baggies.
The Houston no-knock raid was characterized as an ambush by drug dealers. The evidence did not support that conclusion.
The two homeowners killed had no criminal record. Dennis Tuttle was a Navy veteran. His wife, Rhogena Nicholas, was a supporter of President Trump. They had been married for 20 years and lived in their modest home in Houston for the same 20 years.

I don’t know much about this case...or cases like it..but I do know that “confidential informants” are known to lie to cops for various reasons.
He said that he couldn't pick which laws he wanted to enforce or not, except his adamant attack on the Texas gun law showed that to be a lie.
And a subsequent "Republican" DA was responsible for the fraud charges against the reporters who exposed Planned Infanticide's selling of dead baby parts.
George Soros chose Houston's next DA.
Elections have consequences.
POWER is his.
YOU WILL RESPECT HIS AUTHORITAH !!
Someone SWAT’d them.
All you need to do is make a call to the local police office reporting possible drug or child trafficking.
You don’t like someone...SWAT them
It really sounds like the tiny amount of drugs on-scene was planted in order to avoid the embarrassing actual narcotics haul, i.e., ZERO drugs found.
Houston murdered this apparently happily married couple.
After 30 years of policing, HOW MANY other people have they done this to..?
Dozens..? Almost certainly.
HUNDREDS..?
With the KNOWN and AMITTED lie on the application and the unrelated drugs in the officers car, all cases he may have touched have been compromised and the convictions are cast in doubt.

A cop here in a suburb of Minneapolis just got busted for lying on warrants to bust druggies. Now many of his cases are being reconsidered. Many guilty people may walk free because he lied for a few.
Conspiracy and murder under the color of law.
There apparently was no CI =>
“In the legal documents obtained by Channel 2 Investigates, a sergeant stated that he along with his partner were unable to track down any confidential informants involved in a drug buy at the home of 58-year-old Rhogena Nicholas and 59-year-old Dennis Tuttle. Both were killed in the shooting that also resulted in the shooting of four HPD officers.”

“Someone SWATd them.”
Complete BS.
Their neighbors immediately came forward and vouched for the innocence of this couple, making the case suspect from the beginning. Chief Acevado hailed the cops assault before all the damning evidence came to light, then recanted. Question: Why did none of the cops on this raid turn in Officer Goines before it took place?
(Related to another question: If there are so many law-abiding, dedicated FBI agents, why did none of them resign in protest when they learned of the Bureau spying on the Trump campaign?)
“Evil triumphs when good men do nothing.”
This cop was involved in another questionable no-knock raid killing. The cops burst onto a house, and shot a man in front of his parents.
The mom said the kid had just gotten up to get a drink of water when the cops kicked on the door and blew him away on sight.
The cops used the “reaching for his waistband” scam.
It is incorrectly sized for the application </engineer>
Read ....Police State by Gerry Spence
Ten percent of law enforcement are bad...it includes judges, lawyers, prosecutors
Ninety percent of DOJ cases never go to trail....they charge you with so many things...
The jury thinks you must be guilty of something
Why would the author ask drug dealers what they called the no-knock raid?
It was NOT just this rogue thug with a badge, EVERY Cop there was in on it from the beginning and they ALL Deserve the Death Penalty.
I recall many here being quite satisfied with the raid and its outcome as it was originally reported to have occurred.
I wonder how that intersects with fans of Waco PD’s 2015 actions...
Actually, I wouldnt mind that!
Ken H ~ Complete BS.
Nope. Too true. That someone was a cop.
Motive? Dunno. Maybe he just liked watching people cower before him?
There is a test for psychopathy, EEG and fMRI will show the same flat brain response to neutral vs disturbing images.
I wonder how Officer Groin's brain would respond?
SWATing means the police are misled by a third party - such as someone calling in a fake hostage situation.
HPD was the instigator here. It’s all on their shoulders.
A web search of your name shows the arrest forever.
If it never goes to court, it never shows your acquittal.
The court of public opinion (and the HR department of any company that might have hired you) thinks you must be guilty.
I just found out this happened to a friend of mine. His mugshot lives on. Nice Hawaiian shirt...
