Seven Labour lawmakers quit on Monday over leader Jeremy Corbyn’s approach to Brexit and a row over anti-Semitism, saying Britain’s main opposition party had been “hijacked by the machine politics of the hard left”.
In a direct challenge to Corbyn, the seven centrist MPs said they were courting others from across parliament to join their group, saying “enough is enough” in keeping silent over their doubts about the Labour leader’s fitness for office.
United by a desire for a second referendum on Britain’s decision to leave the European Union, now that the likely terms of the divorce are known, they acknowledged that their move would not change the arithmetic in parliament, where there is as yet no majority for such a so-called “People’s Vote”.
But their move underlines the increasing frustration within Labour over Corbyn’s reluctance to change his Brexit strategy - the leftist leader and long-time critic of the EU has stuck to his preference for a new election or his plan to leave the bloc.

Labour has been a big curse on Britain ever since the Attlee years. They need to be kept far away from power; imagine Corbyn as PM and his other openly-Marxist buddy John McDonnell (who recently referred to Churchill falsely as a “villain”, citing old lies about the 1910 Tonypandy mine riots in Wales) as deputy PM, with the possibility of passing bills of attainder still legal there?
Too many Red Tories too. It was they who forced same-sex “marriage” on the UK.
Since the EU is just the Fourth Reich, hating and scapegoating the Jews goes with being a Remainer. In a way, it's odd that Russian spy Corbyn both hates the Jews and supports Brexit -- wait, no it's not. Thanks Dahoser.

It makes sense for moderates to leave a far-left anti-Semitic party — British Labour or the American Democrats, for example — once they’ve lost all hope that moderation and decency can be restored there.
Seven Labour moderates have reached that conclusion and left.
When will similar lightbulbs go off for American Democrats? When moderate presidential candidates like Joe Biden are mocked, attacked and ridiculed 24/7 by far-left anti-Semitic Democrats to the point that they can’t get beyond 30 percent in the polls?
Brexit has been the main but not the only catalyst for this. The result of defections is likely to leave a void in the centre ground which may, or may not see a new party emerge. (Remembering the SDP and the 'Gang of Four', I'm not placing any bets.)

The “seven” are afraid of Brexit, not going far-left, not anti-semitism.
This is a bid to delay, fudge, re-vote, STOP Brexit at any cost.
