(Reuters) - U.S. President Donald Trump said on Saturday the United States was asking European allies to take back over 800 Islamic State fighters captured in Syria and put them on trial.
The Caliphate is ready to fall, he said in a Tweet. The alternative is not a good one in that we will be forced to release them...

CNN and others mocked DJT for confusing them and the Allies this AM by not stating that the prisoners were their nationals. The CNN hag seemed to be very sorry for the prisoners and mad they got caught.
They went on to describe how ISIS only holds a piece of ground 700 X 600 meters and for some reason nothing is happening despite the 1000 or so civilians and the remaining handful of ISIS fighters.
why bother, execute them as enemy combatants.
forced to release them where?
Idiots in the EU will let them go.
Or they could shoot them all on the spot.
Problem solved.

Putting more Arab- Euros in Gitmo is bad idea. Costly and they are really not our responsibility. They should have been combat casualties. Our so called European Allies need to deal with them or turn them over to Syria for execution for their crimes in Syria.
So much insanity permeates the globe.
Here, we have to live with catch and release at our southern border.
Overseas, we are stuck with catching and releasing ISIS.
Just turn them over to the people they were fighting.....
Bad move, Trump. The Europeans will give them a slap on the wrist. Turn them over to the Syrians or anti-ISIS militia.
I vote shoot each one...today. Given their proclivities, it is obvious they have no place in civil society.
or keep them in Syria and use up some captured ammo
Works for me.
4-D chess. Thanks blueplum.
