When Trump signed multiple wall-less spending bills during his first two years, we were always assured that it was just temporary. Trump would fight ‘em hard and fulfill his central campaign promise the next time. Of course there was never a next time. And as shown by this latest farce, there isn’t ever going ever to be one.
I am a bit surprised, however, that in light of this history someone would actually have the gall to post, in 2019, another serving of this “fight coming later” pathetic nonsense here. (and the all-caps lunatic font made it extra pathetic)

That’s it right there - a simple, undebatable fact. The GOP had the Presidency, the Senate, and the House for two golden years. And yet nothing was done.
The only thing that matters now is how to apportion the blame between Trump and the GOP leadership. I’d say it’s 50-50.
