why sign the bill? why sign all the crap in it that allows illegals to keep coming and abusing our system and harming US Citizens and the country?
What’s the point anymore? With this spending bill, it gives amnesty and makes it easier to get in without even needing to jump the border.
Now, it’s just theater. The invasion is still happening. Nothing is stopping it...wall or not.
Let’s see how this will go. Some judge in the 9th Circuit will issue some type of order to halt any construction. 9th will uphold it. It will be expedited to the Supreme Court and in about 6 months they will uphold it 5-4 with Roberts voting in the majority.
Meanwhile over in the House the majority will issue Articles of Impeachment. A number of the Never Trumpers in the GOP will vote to affirm. It will be sent to the Senate where, contrary to Bill Xlinton’s case, a real trial with real, live witnesses appearing will be conducted with that same Never Trumper Roberts sitting on the Bench lording over the process.
Then it will be touch and go to see how many of the feckless Republicans will vote to convict.
Of course this is all conjecture on my part.

There has got to be some way for sincere US Citizens wanting secured borders and safety to support and further the efforts when our congress and senate stab us in the back helping the problem/invaders instead of doing the right thing by protecting US Citizens.

Once a federal project begins, it is almost impossible to stop it. Take the Big Dig in Boston. Originally it was to be $2.6b but by the time it was done it cost over $15b.
Fact is, those behind the Big Dig knew it would cost much more but they also knew that once they got that spigot going and once construction began, it would become unstoppable and they would be fully funded through completion.
I see the Wall as being in the same category.
