The New York Post is reporting that Valerie Jarrett, one of President Barack Obama's top advisers, leaked details of the story to the press through outside sources hoping it would not trace back to the White House.
What's more, the entire thing was timed to become public just as Clinton was planning to announce her candidacy for president.

I really hope this is the beginning of a Clinton vs. Obama war where they start dropping fact bombs about one another. That’d make popcorn scarce across the known universe.
I often wondered who leaked that story. Democrats are never at fault according to the media. It was strange when it first broke. I think it was the NYT that ran it & made it seem like a trivial oversight on Clinton’s part at first.
