Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez: 'Reconquistador!' [taking Southwest U.S.A. back for Mexico]
American Thinker ^ | February 12, 2019 | Jonathon A Moseley

Posted on 02/12/2019 3:34:54 AM PST by Moseley

Last week's most overlooked news was Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez revealing herself as a champion of the "Reconquista" war against Europeans. The Mexican Reconquista movement is an openly admitted effort by Hispanic activists to take "back" California (Southern especially), New Mexico, Arizona, and Texas through immigration and activism. This is one of several driving forces behind allowing illegal immigration.

Ocasio-Cortez (D-Venezuela) dominated news on February 7 appearing at a rally to abolish or defund the Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agency. The same day, Ocasio-Cortez joined other liberal Members of Congress in unveiling her "Green New Deal" (green evidently referring to envy, not the environment).

Almost lost amidst this furor were Ocasio-Cortez's comments that immigration laws should not apply to indigenous people: As reported in the UK's Daily Mail -- with full video shown:

But she vowed Thursday to defund ICE completely and claimed Latinos should be exempt from criminal proceedings and immigration laws because they are descended from Mesoamerican cultures that preceded the United States.

'We are standing on native land,' she claimed, speaking just outside the U.S. Capitol. 'And Latino people are descendants of native people. And we cannot be told, and criminalized, simply because for our identity or our status. Period.” [emphasis added]

No one should be surprised that Mexico's Reconquista is now openly supported in the halls of Congress after years of it pushing American immigration policy since the 1986 IRCA/Amnesty - which was was overwhelmingly a Mexican amnesty program. Below is the official INS (precursor to ICE) statistics and it goes into 1992 because so many of those initially denied were later granted by court orders or stipulated agreements of the government. Note that Central America, the source of today's "caravan" invaders are the runner-ups.

I couldn't find a complete chart by US state of application, but only a partial for 1987 (while applications were still being accepted). I do remember distinctly that the complete numbers showed (as this partial and today's DACA shows) an overwhelming number from California with a clear 2nd place for Texas:

Since the 1986 Amnesty, we've been living through nothing less than Mexico's "Reconquista" with aid from its Central American proxies and the all too critical assistance of the American 5th column. Another Amnesty will be America's complete surrender.

How can a Hispanic politician go by the name Cortez?

With the state of education in the US now, there are probably fewer and fewer folks who've ever heard of Cortez and Montezuma.

Cortez is only 29. Does not qualify under the Constitution. I suggest you read it before posting anymore garbage

z3n, you bring up some good points, but I think Steely Tom has it right when he said:

“They’ve been convinced that to be suicidal is a way of displaying their virtue.”

"The Indians of Mexico never inhabited the American Southwest. This gal needs to learn a little about the history of her people."

Actually, the reverse is true. Indians of the American Southwest migrated into Mexico and went to work as low-end labor for the advanced culture already there (I think it was the Toltecs, but I'm working from memory and have not fact-checked). They bred like fleas, took the place over, and became known to posterity as "Aztecs".

“Easy to conquer a suicidal civilization.”

Absolutely true. The decadent west trashing it’s own culture and civilization, instead of proudly defending them, will be easy picking for the islamists in Europe and the Latinos here.

Rather than being proud of their success and accomplishments, whites have instead let their successes become a source of guilt, which is now destroying us.

Will we ever wake up from this state of self-flagellation and regain our moral confidence? There isn’t much time left.

“Uncle Sam Stole Our Land!”

Uncle Sam didn’t take Texas. Texans did and Texas was an independent country after the Texas Revolution. Cortez is saying forget the Alamo. I doubt that will sit well here in Texas.

AOC probably celebrates the Alamo as a glorious victory, before the war was tragically lost at San Jacinto.

You know what? Let's do it. Give the 30 poorest bordering counties to Mexico. All of them. 100% ownership. AND give them the adjacent counties exactly ten years later. And then the next layer, and so on... with only one contingent requirement: that those counties have accomplished at least 5 of these 7 goals: increased their economic output, median salary, and life expectancy... improved their mortality rate figures, reduced violent crime, reduced property crime, and prevent 80% of the current illegal immigration rates from their locations.

If they do that, then they get the next layer of counties. If they fail, then the deal is nullified, and all US lands are restored. Let's do it.

You and any other bitter clingers will get the Roger Stone treatment

Just as long as 2-3 (or more) of the jackboots die in every effort, they will start to rethink their actions in short order. The Russian people learned this lesson the hard way, as have numerous others. We learned from their miseries. How many jackboots do you think they have? There are at least 3 million of us bitter clingers who will not hesitate anymore to make sure that, if we go down, we are bringing at least 2 of theirs with us. Do they have 6-9 million jackboots ready to die for their cause? I don't think so. I doubt they'll go much past 50-100 before they change course.

I agree. The Roger Stone episode also shows where “law enforcement” will side in a SHTF scenario like gun confiscation. Jackboot licking freepers like to say police will never do this that and the other. The police etc. will do what they’re told until they have enough casualties. After all they’re doing it for money not patriotism. Ambushes EFPs slow acting neurotoxins in tempting locked boxes etc. will discourage these heroes (like the Parkland cop) from being so enthusiastic.

Do you think that Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez should take a DNA test to see how much indigenuous Meso-American she has in her like Elizabeth Warren did?

Even if Cortez had significant indigenous Meso-American DNA, as with Warren's DNA of 1/1000th part, that would not proof Native {US} American Indian DNA/ancestry.

Contrary to false claims that they are the same, the only interaction Native {US} Americans had with those cultures were with the Aztec army's raids to take back thousands of prisoners at a time for human sacrifice.

Also since the Taino people and Lucayans from the Caribbean basin are extinct, I don’t know how they would do a DNA test on that. But I think we shoudl shame AOC into taking a DNA test

Yet because today Mexico is a corrupt third-world nation (despite having more millionaires and billionaires than Great Britain), we are supposed to allow any number of Mexicans from Chiapas, Michoacán or Yucatan to march into the American Southwest, and make some historical claim of a right to live there? From where does this absurd idea spring?

I've always thought it was one heck of a coincidence that the "reconquista" goals so closely parallel the benefits promised to Mexico by Germany in 1917, as payment for helping spread WWI to North America. How far back would you say the roots of the globalist movement go?
