Houston Police Only Seized Small Amount Of Marijuana In Deadly Raid, No Heroin
Houston Public Media ^ | February 8, 2019 | HPM Digital Team

The Houston Police officers who conducted a deadly raid in an East Houston home on January 28, expecting to find heroin, only seized 18 grams of marijuana and 1.5 grams of an unknown white powder. The Houston Chronicle obtained the results of the search warrant Friday, which also showed officers found two shotguns and two rifles inside the house.

The house had been under investigation for about two weeks after HPD received information about a suspect that was allegedly selling narcotics.

A confidential informant was sent to purchase heroin from the suspect on January 27. The informant told officers the purchase was made and said there was more heroin at the house, according to the affidavit filed to obtain the search warrant. But records later showed that the substance the informant said was heroin was a brown powder, the Chronicle reported.

HPD’s Internal Affairs department and Special Investigations Unit are investigating the operation, and one of the officers involved has been relieved of duty.

Four officers were wounded by gunfire in the raid, which turned into a shootout. The suspects, Dennis Tuttle and Rhogena Nicholas, were killed. The couple’s dog was also killed after it attacked an officer. HPD officials said police opened fire after Tuttle shot the officers when they entered the home and Nicholas was killed when she tried to grab the firearm of one of the officers.

Houston Police Chief Art Acevedo spoke about the investigation, KPRC Channel 2 reported. He said the department “will get to the bottom of this with everything that went well, the good, the bad and the ugly, because that is our moral and legal obligations as a department.”

Acevedo didn’t answer direct questions about the investigation and said he doesn’t want to “piecemeal the discussion.”

Thinking corruption. Want to get rid of someone? A police raid sounds like an ideal way. Could have been him or her that someone wanted to eliminate.

With the blue on blue damage sure to arise, maybe it was one (or more) of the cops with the couple and dog being just colateral damage.

Way to go mom! Guess her daughter doesn’t have a drug problem anymore.

So there’s that.

Unfortunately, that is also a distinct possibility, which would cast doubts on the guys/gals in blue who are doing their jobs correctly.

They didn’t have the wrong address.

There is something else going on which very few know about, but those who know about it begin to realize that where it is operating, coincidences happen very commonly and steer events.

Before the raid, the cops just happened to encounter a woman walking on the street, who was on the phone, and she walked up to the cops, looked at them, and made a point of saying loudly into the phone, in front of the cops, “They are about to raid the drug house.” Then she walked off.

If you are normal, given it appears this was not a drug house, you should wonder, “Who was that woman, why was she there, and what are the chances she would just happen to be on the phone and say that, at exactly the right moment, given this wasn’t a drug house?” That is a strange coincidence.

These were Trump-supporters, and they had a druggie say it was a drug house (What is the ratio of (domestic)intelligence assets among junkies?), and a random woman who happened to wander by at the raid. Did anybody else turn them on to this house? I’d assume a third entity started the operation and got them to try a buy at the house. Who?

Obama/Soros/leftist-billionaires/Brennan/Jarrett built something which will blow everyone’s minds when it goes public. Some here already know. I still cannot believe it. It is straight out of the Twilight zone.

I don’t know the cops, or the leaders of the department, or the facts of this. And clearly no-knock raids should have cruisers roll up with sirens started the instant they begin to enter so there can be no confusion they are cops. But knowing what I know, I would look very closely at the hypothesis these cops were set up and put on that couple for a reason by someone else, who managed to get a bunch of people steer them into raiding the house. And if it worked the way I think, the cops really had no ability to not end up where they did, and neither did the couple.

Also, I would begin to wonder if some of the divisive, attacking comments on here, designed to foment dissention among us, are genuine freepers, or if they might be other people here with an ulterior motive of making us act more hostile ourselves while we are here. They want us divided on all of our meeting places.

Remember I said this in six months to a year. I think you’ll be surprised.

And if anybody wants to try and attack me, to foment dissention, I will ignore you and just start pointing people here to youtube vids.

For what it’s worth and that may not be very much. See the
post I made earlier. The first sentence of the post is wrong
and I corrected it in the next post or two.

...yet remain part of the Blue Wall of Silence and start every shift with the "Us against them" mentality of police vs EVERYONE non-police.

The mother of the woman doesn’t even live in Texas. There have been so many inaccuracies reported it’s frightning. The night of the raid, brother Art was saying Hardy. If they were so these people were it why the H did HPD lock down a 20 block area? Looking for another suspect?

I have no idea where the mother lives. Only going by what has been posted in the news.

snip:
Friday, February 08, 2019 10:23PM
HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) — It was a mother worried about her daughter’s drug use
that alerted Houston police to a home in southeast Houston, leading to a deadly drug
raid, say ABC13 sources.

A 911 call from the mother of now-deceased suspect Rhogena Nicholas put
7815 Harding Street on police radar. Sources close to the investigation say
her mother called reporting the 58-year-old was doing drugs inside her own home.

There was a case a few years ago in Minneapolis where a wrong address raid had the father blasting the entry team with a 12 gauge. Amazing everyone lived, and the cops payed big dollars the the family.
These raids may be necessary sometimes, but it should be a last resort, not the first.y

I generally side with cops

I might have agreed with you ten years ago. It's long past the time I'd agree with you now.

Police, priests and politicians have revealed themselves to be untrustworthy.
