On July 27, 2017, Johnny Wheatcroft was a passenger in a silver Ford Taurus when a pair of Glendale police officers pulled in front them in a Motel 6 parking lot.
The stop was for an alleged turn signal violation.
Minutes later, Wheatcroft was handcuffed lying face down on the hot asphalt on a 108-degree day. He'd already been tased 10 times, with one officer kneeling on his back as another, Officer Matt Schneider, kicked him in the groin and pulled down his athletic shorts to tase him a final time in his testicles, according to a federal lawsuit and body camera footage obtained by ABC15.
The scene was witnessed by his 11- and 6-year-old sons.
Multiple independent law enforcement experts, who agreed to review the incident, said the officers conduct was unlawful, potentially criminal, and one of the most cruel and troubling cases of police misconduct theyve ever seen.

May the man bankrupt that city.
Use your turn signal correctly and this kind of thing won’t happen.
He was the passenger.
You'll remember that experience your whole life.
Hope they put that on Cops.
I think he hid a gun or drugs. Failed to do what he was told and I think he kicked one of the officers in the groin when he was on the ground. Definitely over use of tasers, but lesson in what happens when you don’t comply. Should have given his name, relaxed and followed orders. I don’t have to is never a good response to a police officer.
I actually go out of my way to stop people for defective automobile lights.
"Your driver's side headlight is out. $15,000 if you get stopped for it while you've been drinking."
I guess I can update that to "You'll get your genitals tased for that."
You would have made a good nazi. They had no right to do a damn thing to the passenger. He wasn’t hiding anything, he was putting the food he was eating down. They obviously impounded and searched the car, yet there was nothing found.
Another Jack Booted Thug story.
Complete with your basic ‘the officer went home safe’ types.
Waiting for Alaska Wolf to show up.. ;-)
The event was in 2017. He refused to ID himself, and kept trying to reach under the seat, as if for a weapon. As they hauled him out of the car, one of the officers was knocked out by the bitch in the back seat. Additional officers arrived to tend to the officer down and with the arrest.

Those cops should be sued for every penny they have, besides the city being sued for millions. And the cops should be fired and jailed for assault under color of authority. They give all cops a bad name, and it becomes understandable why some citizens choose to kill cops. Not that I’m saying that should happen, but incidents like this make it known why many people are fearful of cops. Just because a few a-holes on the force act like animals. Poor guy, hopefully he gets millions for the aggravation, completely unwarranted attack by cops.
“He was the passenger”
___________
Oh, uh, well then don’t be the passenger with someone who doesn’t use their turn signal correctly.
Just wear an Antifa shirt with a mask over your face and the cops will never bother you.
You gonna comply when they come for your guns
That wouldnt be very revolutionary
And he was driving with his wife, a friend and his 2 sons 11 and 6.
Pictures look pitiful.
The passenger, as a passenger was not required to give his name. Is this Hitler's Germany? Check the video discussion, they mentioned law experts said the passenger wasn't required to give his name.
Someone will have to decide whether this response was over-the-top, but based on what I’ve seen of traffic encounters, a flat-out refusal to comply is a very convincing sign that the subject is working up the nerve to assault the officers with a weapon.
reminds me of the fibbers and the "rank and file " crap.....
since when is it mandatory to have an ID?
we little serfs have every right to ask why we were stopped, and why we are detained....cops reason was the turn signal...but they instead went after the passenger......
