The context is that the Apostolic Council in the Acts of the Apostles was talking about dead animals.
They were not talking about the precious,life-giving Blood of Jesus Christ Our Lord, which we are are bidden to drink in John 6, and in the Gospel accounts recording the His words on the night before He died.

Jesus had every drop of blood He'd ever have in His body at that time.
There was NOTHING blood-like in the wine they drank.
And there STILL isn't today.
