Very true a lot of us are getting older
Actually Medicare (vice Medicaid) is the vehicle that leads to single payer. Under Medicare you pay into the system. Medicare Part B premiums are essentially means tested based on income. The Dems will want to incorporate means testing in any single payer system to soak the rich.
Her elimination of fossil fuels in 12 years went over like a lead balloon. Nancy and the rest of the Communist Party have tried to lie about it for decades and she blabs the whole plan.
Yes, then they can concentrate on the wetbacks and domestic parasites on SSDI and MediCaid.
There are exactly three reasons why Tester won any of his elections:
1. Obscene amounts of out-of-state (and probably illegal) campaign donations. (Tester outspent Rosendale by AT LEAST 5 to 1 ratio...if you can take the published figures as factual)
2. The absolute and undying love/support of Montana's sorry excuse for media for all things "D", with Tester and our lame*** Governor their current last grip on greatness/acceptance/whatever. (If I want accurate information about Montana I go to the 'net, local talkradio or have coffee with neighbors....and I'm damn sure not the only one does that.)
3. Vote fraud. Fine old Montana Democrat Party tradition. (This last election is rumored to have featured a significant number of ballots that were split [i.e. everything but the vote for Tester was for Republicans] as well as an election day registration/GOV drive at our two major college towns that one neighbor called the One doughnut/One Vote campaign, but that was the deciding factor in the published vote count.)

Voter complaints? Check my Items 2 & 3. If you can even find someplace to file a complaint and the bureaucrat doesn't dump it in the trash before you're out of sight the trial lawyers and the media will brand you as a nutcase and drive you out of the state.
It's improving, but sometimes this place is worse than damn Chicago.
We really don't know what we don't know. And some things are beyond our present comprehension. Scientific theories and postulates have changed over time despite the "math."
For example, the Heisenberg Uncertainty Principle states that you can never simultaneously know the exact position and the exact speed of an object. Why not? Because everything in the universe behaves like both a particle and a wave at the same time.
You mean like this one:
But since travel at the speed of light requires infinite mass, requiring exotic wormholes to pull it off (Sagans Contact is my favorite book of all time), it seems implausible that these guys would have any interest in little old Earth.
Perhaps the chart isn’t granular enough but doesn’t that graph show temperature increases or decrease preceding changes in CO2? I thought the AGW premise was just the opposite that increased CO2 output was causing the warming.
I know its a long shot but wouldn’t be ironic if the Democrats decide for pasty white guy Gov. Hickenlooper. I wonder if their desire to win/beat president Trump will overcome their desire to elect a woman/minority. These early contenders seem tremendously flawed from a national elect-ability stand point. The rest of these candidates will make him look like a moderate and governors tend to fair pretty well nationally.
One of the best paragraphs you've written, Bray. Nobody works (very long) for free, and punishing success is sure to be a recipe for disaster. And even the old Marxist, Khrushchev, criticized another Marxist, Mao Zedong, for pursuing the policy of mutual suffering through Marxism--what Khrushchev called "pant-less communism." It's appalling that none of our "brave" members of Congress can even rise to the level of Nikita Khrushchev.
No, you have to be a Natural Born Citizen, according to the U.S. Constitution. That term is not defined anywhere within the document and the Courts have never ruled on this specific clause. I have checked "ROCKLOBSTER" in all the rulings of the Supreme Court. It's not there. So, your definition means nothing. You will need to prove that your definition is correct, or arrange to challenge a Presidential nominee in the courts asserting that they are not eligible for the Office.
All previous attempts have failed. Good luck.
A little help: Wo Kim Ark decided that Mt. Ark was a U.S. Citizen. The decision did not address the Natural Born Citizen Clause as that only applies to the Office of the President.
Minor v. Happersett has a lengthy discussion of the meaning of the term "Natural Born Citizen", but that discussion was not a part of the Court's decision.
Since the Courts are not interested in resolving this argument, any attempt to advance any particular definition will fail, waste of time, forlorn hope, tilt at windmills, beating a dead horse, futile attempt. I am certain that any U.S. Citizen who was not required to apply for naturalization will be deemed to be eligible for the Office of President and will appear on the ballot in all States if they otherwise qualify. That is reality.
Amazing can you vote if I was bad but I never knew it was anywhere near that level
Last time I can recall seeing this sort of sorry collection of 'rat contenders was the one that resulted in Slick Willy.
I'm not comforted. At all.
As I said, it’s improving.
Every time the ‘rats pull another of these stunts just gives us another reason to go after their butts a little harder.
...plus hope we live long enough to actually see an honest election.

It was important enough to be written in as part of the opinion of the court in a unanimous decision.
That they recognized it makes it an integral part of our history.
any U.S. Citizen who was not required to apply for naturalization will be deemed to be eligible for the Office of President
In your opinion, Osama Bin Laden and Angela Merkel could have come to the US, delivered a child, and later have him be eligible to run for President.
ANY "anchor baby" is naturalized by a mistaken interpretation of the 14th Amendment (an act of Congress). They likely have dual or multiple citizenships and loyalty to foreign power(s).
