GOP releases list targeting 55 House seats for pickups in 2020

After 40 House seats swung to Democrats in the 2018 midterms, the Republican Party is targeting dozens of them ahead of 2020 in a bid to win back control of the chamber.

The House GOP’s campaign wing has released a list of 55 seats it will target next year, mostly by portraying Democrats as the party of socialism, CNBC reported.

The targeted seats include 41 of the 43 the GOP lost to Democrats — many weeks after polls closed in November.

*** These people have no intent whatsoever to implement our agenda, the Conservative agenda, the Founder’s agenda. ***

There are several things the Dem’s and Repub’s agree on.
More Defense Spending.
More wars.
More immigrants, legal, or illegal for cheap labor (bonus for Dem’s- more Dem voters.
Money and special treatment for Israel.

They must put up a candidate for all Dems. There should not be an uncontested seat. We may not win the seat but at least we will make the incumbent to have to fight for the seat, and to see what the real position of the district voters is. In a lot of the uncontested districts the conservatives just don’t go to the polls because they think it is a stacked deck.

I will do my part in my district and that does not just mean posting here on FreeRepublic. It means donating money and more importantly, my time, to get democrats ousted from office.

They better figure out a strategy for holding on to the senate. They have to defend a lot more seats than the Democrats.

And how did the two muzzies and the dumba## from ny get where they are. Rampant voter fraud is probably the biggest criminal act to date and no one is addressing it. At this point anyone can win an election and this is dangerous as we can see

Targeting? Sounds so violent. I suppose they’ll use a map with little bullseyes or crosshairs. /s

Democrats....Nancy Pelosi and her Democrat dregs did not win the House of Representatives over the Republicans. Republican Speaker of the House, Paul Ryan handed it to them on a silver platter.

Paul Ryan was both traitor & turncoat to all Republicans, POTUS, Trump and all of the American people.

That’s great but until we “harvest” votes (like the Dems), we won’t win.

All of those “vote harvested” stolen seats in California are gone. It will probably even be worse in 2020 as the Rats have more experience in this process.

My recommendation would be to prioritize the California seats-—except for Young Kim-—last. This is not because we couldn’t win these seats in a fair election, but I don’t see with DemoKKKrats controlling the state how any fair election there is ever held without federal troops-—Reconstruction like-—going in.

I would further urge the GOP to place a limit on spending for ANY house seat. The spending on Comstock and the CO guy were outrageous, when other seats could be saved.

Above all, though, the GOP without changing any principles needs to seriously review its messaging. HOW it is presenting its message does NOT resonate.

Richard Baris of PPD did an interesting study just prior to the FL election in 2018. He asked if voters would vote for a socialist candidate. Something like 60+% said NEVER. Yet Gillum’s Island lost by less than a percent.

This is entirely messaging. The GOP must show millennials and others specifically HOW their tax and border policies affect NOT POCKETBOOKS, because Millennials don’t get that, but go one step further to show how how these policies affect Millennials doing those things they “want to do” whether it’s have cleaner parks, or safer children, or whatever. The GOP’s messaging cannot be “Vote McSally,” she’s a veteran,” but show McSally talking to the “single mothers” and make THEM the focus then show how GOP policies work for them.

It’s all about the candidate, yes. But it’s also about how candidates make voters feel good about there vote.

People here can whine and moan that we are in that situation, and continue to lose. Or we can address the marketing issue.

Our very own potted plant, Anne Kuster should be on the list.

It pissed me off to see her at the SOU, sitting in her Clan Robe, sans hood.

Agreed. Doing my best here in Michigan. I’m a precinct delegate and on the county executive committee. The alternative is to do nothing and just let everything collapse. Personally, I can’t do that. We do need to work hard on a grassroots level to bring more true conservatives into the mix.

First, and all across the nation, Republicans must shut down the “ballot harvesting” voter fraud used by Democrats *nationwide* in the last election.

Seriously, 2016 was one of the most widespread, blatant and exploitative examples of voter fraud this century; and the Republicans basically ignored it, and were badly punished.

If they want to stop that nonsense, they need to act now. Not just by running better campaigns on winning issues, because that doesn’t matter in a card game where the dealer cheats and you never call him on it.

FL — 4 “
NY — 4 “
MN — 3 “
IA — 3 “
IL — 3 “
PA — 3 “
VA — 3 “
Rest—2 or less

Oh my God! They used the word “targeting!” Are they advocating violence against these Democrats? You know, the same way Sarah Palin did against Gabby Giffords.
