A Houston police officer has been relieved of duty in light of "ongoing questions" stemming from a botched drug raid that left a couple dead and five officers wounded, police said Thursday. It's not clear what role the officer played in the Jan. 28 bust at 7815 Harding, but law enforcement sources said his suspension comes amid a probe into questions over whether the sworn affidavit used to justify the no-knock warrant may have contained false information.

That is an old and worthless quote. It is just a hypothetical posing as reality.
But in this era we have literally millions of innocents murdered every year because of the “rights” of women. So it figures that a lack of rigorous thinking and and a tendency to lazily quote trite old cliches is so popular.
We live in an imperfect world, among imperfect people,so it figures that we will have imperfect systems and less than perfect justice.
But that doesn’t mean we have to create or perpetuate false equivalencies.
I agree with you on the abortion side of your argument.
However, I cannot bring myself to agree that Ben Franklin and the founders thoughts, were just tired old tripe.
Amazing that this crap happens and continues to happen with impunity.
They wonder why the public hates them, well this is just another example.
I did not at all intend to blame or psychoanalysis you at all. I’m just saying when you or I transpose numbers it does not result in a life or death situation.
