Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez was seen wiping tears from her face after using the death of a seven-year-old migrant child to demand an end to funding for the nations border agency.
At the event on Capitol Hill in Washington DC, the New York congresswoman said US Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) did not deserve a dime, until it showed it cared about human rights.
Not only will we not agree to fund [ICE], but we are here to say that an agency like ICE, which repeatedly and systematically violates human rights, does not deserve a dime, she said.

She needs to be held accountable for such statements. It is severely disrespectful to those that put themselves in danger serving this country.
They are not “violating human rights”. Having dying children put in their laps doesn’t mean they’ve done a thing wrong. If you actually visit the centers where they’re held they’re some of the most equipped places you can find - light years ahead of what would be found in Mexico (recreation, medical, etc.). Of course she’s riding the message of the media.
This woman needs public shaming.
Time to send this barmaid back to Puerto Rico. She can fix up that joint.
