DENPASAR, INDONESIA (AFP) - A British woman was handed a six-month jail term on Wednesday (Feb 6) for slapping an immigration officer in Bali after she missed her flight because of an expired tourist visa.
A court on the Indonesian holiday island found Auj-e Taqaddas, 43, guilty of assaulting the officer at Ngurah Rai international airport in July last year.

Who does she think she is? Zsa Zsa Gabor?
Auj-e Taqaddas, a normal British name. Is she related to the Queen?

When keepin’ it real goes wrong.
She’ll be an expert at the squat toilet in no time.
She should come to America. Here overstaying your visa makes you a victim.
She seems nice.
What a pathetic spectacle. Maybe we could take up a collection, so the Balinese officials can keep her in prison a little longer. I don’t believe 6 months is long enough for her to fully learn her lesson. A full year seems more appropriate. Bali is gorgeous, but I bet their prisons are not so nice.
Hmmmm...Laz might hit it.
I thought she might be a hooker since she overstayed so long in a tourist place, but it turns out shes just a fat, loony Pakistani. Enjoy your stay in an Indonesian prison. I bet theres quite a few foreign nationals there to keep you company - from drunken Aussies to German perverts to American druggies. I saw them all, and I was in Bali only a week.
The Christian parts of Indonesia and some parts of Bali are pretty nice, however.
Yes, the Taqaddas family can trace their roots back to the Norman invasion
Well. He was a patient guy.
What were you in for? Pickin’ up the garbage? :)

That vid was engrossing in a train wreck sort of way. She needs to be fed a diet of bar soap for six months.
Loved the way the undercover cops swooped in.
She is Pakistani.
