‘Disgust’ And ‘Disbelief’ Within White House After Trump’s Schedule Leaks
dailycaller.com ^ | 1:27 PM 02/04/2019 | Saagar Enjeti | White House Correspondent

The White House found itself knocked off balance ahead of the State of the Union after an anonymous staffer leaked months of President Donald Trump’s schedules to Axios, two administration officials told The Daily Caller.

Axios published months of Trump’s private schedules Sunday evening, detailing how Trump spends nearly 60 percent of his time in unstructured “executive time.” One administration official said the leak itself did not reveal any information, which wasn’t already known generally, but was “aghast and disgusted” that anyone in the president’s circle would reveal so much proprietary information.

Another administration official said rank and file White House staffers were particularly upset about the leak because it demonstrated clear malice towards the president, and fostered a general atmosphere of distrust. The official said many younger staffers were in “complete disbelief” in morning meetings and expressed open wishes that those who harbor such obvious disdain for Trump should just leave the White House.

Trump’s director of Oval Office operations, Madeline Westerhout, slammed the leak of the schedules in a Sunday evening Twitter statement, saying:

What a disgraceful breach of trust to leak schedules. What these don’t show are the hundreds of calls and meetings @realDonaldTrump takes everyday. This POTUS is working harder for the American people than anyone in recent history. https://t.co/n1HrxmCsiB

— Madeleine Westerhout (@madwest45) February 3, 2019

“This leak is truly disgraceful. There’s no obvious rhyme or reason for it other than to cause mayhem and increase paranoia. Whoever leaked it knew it would be used to portray the President as not working hard,” former White House aide Cliff Sims and author of a new book about the dysfunctional staffing relationship inside the West Wing told TheDC.

“There are plenty of justifiable criticisms of Trump. That isn’t one of them. Why work in a White House where you clearly think that poorly of the president you’re there to serve? There’s nothing patriotic about being the so-called ‘resistance’ on the inside.”

White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders defended the president’s “executive time” to Axios telling them in a statement, “while he spends much of his average day in scheduled meetings, events, and calls, there is time to allow for a more creative environment that has helped make him the most productive President in modern history.”

Trump has appointed so many NeoCons & Never Trumpers to his staff that this was Inevitable.

I like a president who is well rested and relaxed.

I’d say this is a career White House staffer who thinks he/she is being loyal to Obambi or Bush and and has likely leaked other things over the past two years.

These types, from chefs to stewards and upwards, have done damage over the years to other presidents when they choose sides, either with press leaks or memoirs. So pathetic.

Considering all the secrets at stake, the NSA needs to do its job and find the traitor..

I must be missing your point. But when the President’s schedule is exposed, he is exposed to possible danger. The satanic a$$holes can now plan ahead to any specific event on his calendar, if such an event overly exposes access to Trump.

I give my President permission to personally execute any such traitors he comes across . On the spot

In the years before the CW, before this country became uncivilized, that would have been done without hesitation.

I hadn’t heard that. I did hear that after an appearance on one news show, after she spent the segment defending Trump, she walked off set and did pretend gagging.

Yes, if you are thinking about the safety for our president , I agree with you.

My interpretation was that they wanted to portray him as lazy, stupid, and undisciplined. IMO, he is smart, hardworking, and thoughtful.

This “story” is a nothing burger, just more crap for the media to wet their pants about. Everyone knows Trump works hard and smart, ask Hillary.

I agree it’s time for her to go. I never trusted her as she was not on the Trump Train from day one. Could you imagine the traitorous tell all book she’d write if he axed her?

Yeah, it’s just like when the MSM complained that Obama spent too much time on the golf course!

They constantly complain that, in under two years, Trump undid everything Obama accomplished in eight years. Imagine if Trump ever actually decided to work hard!

One of the reasons Reagan was the Teflon President is that the accusations were always nothing. There was never any “There!” there. Iran-Contra was almost impossible to understand.
The same holds true for Trump. It’s hard for anything to stick because they are all small compared to “Trump Is A Racist!!” being screamed over and over....which no one really believes. When Democrats mess up, they mess up HUGE. Fondling the intern in the oval office huge. Sexual assault huge. Taking bribes from foreigners huge.
