And I can tell you, in NorCal, the sense of entitlement and piousness the culture of electric cars creates is bat-guano level insane.
That entitlement and piousness is a hallmark of all EV drivers (especially Tesla drivers). They are Kings of the Roads and their rule is “Get out of my way, can’t you see I’m saving the earth?”
When I’m walking our dog around town, I am especially wary of Teslas and Priuses. They will run you down quicker than a New York can murder a full term baby. Don’t EVER trust them to stop for a stop sign or honor a crosswalk. That’s your death warrant.

I think the cars should stand on their own. If they can compete price-wise, then fine. If they can’t, they shouldn’t be subsidized by the federal government or states.
Yeah, if I ran into a bunch of the nuts trying to pull that routine, I’d let them know they’re full of it.
