I suspect Mueller has been holding both Don Jr and Jared over Trump for some time—probably as communicated by Rosenstein to Trump on their plane ride, or whatever it was, together.
In return, Trump has been holding back in threat the declassification of the FISA warrants, afraid that a countershot from the Deep State would bring his family members down. (Though I doubt they have anything legit on Don Jr., I suspect they’ve a fair amount on Jared.)
But if Trump doesn’t shift to offense, they’ll just keep propping up RBG until they can sufficiently wound, if not outright bring down, Trump himself.
If he does - it’s on in my opinion
