California being such a dry climate, it actually takes work to breed vermin. Nice job leftists.

See the birds eating stuff off the ground.

That’s got to be a health concern when you think about it.

Someone with the knowhow should pull pictures like this from the Democrat run cities, and post them where everyone can click on one link to see them.

I think what is surprising is that it took this long before public hygiene collapsed in California and long forgotten diseases reappeared.

Our local politicians are beyond being fools, they are dangerous and criminal in their wanton disregard of public health.

And it’s not just Los Angeles and San Francisco, it has spread into Orange County as well. The just replaced mayor of Anaheim was a mini-me version of LA’s fool of a mayor Eric Garcetti, enabling the massive homeless encampment along the Santa Ana River trail.

“...I read Freepers who say that demographic replacement doesn’t matter as long as we have the muh Constitution. If you import Mexico’s population, you get Mexico, at best. No words on paper are going to change that. People make culture, not the other way around. “

+1. Worth repeating.

But I would love to know if homeless encampments were allowed back then, if drug addicts were permitted to freely roam and leave their waste, etc.. There may well be lessons to learn from how previous generations would have dealt with such problems..

Indeed, all we need to do is look at Asian cities like Formosa, Tokyo, and Beijing to see how others handle those problems and do the same ourselves.

The picture in post 23 must be of an upscale homeless
neighborhood. There’s no shit on the sidewalk.

Medieval people were clean. Third world people are not.

Coming to an encampment, near you soon!

The OC. City cops nd CA State Beach rangers, inform complaining citizens, “it is not against the law to be homeless”

It is so [swear word deleted] disgusting here. Our neighborhood recently got those dropped off scooters to ride. My first thought was, how fun - my adult kids and I could go for a ride! Then I thought, no, on this boulevard filled with homeless, diseased people? No way!

This week with all the rain, you see more of them, they having descended out from the bushes alongside the freeway to collect under buildings or overpasses due to the rain. Piles and piles of nasty trash.

When I was 17 I went to Calcutta India and could barely sleep or breathe, having seen the people living in the streets of the city, sleeping in carved out caves in buildings on the sidewalk. I was experiencing culture shock.

My daughter is living now where I grew up and she sees the same thing every single day. I’m sad we have allowed this gross degeneration.

We have decivilized ourselves because our leaders are PC whores. It is illogical, preposterous, and unsanitary. But we accept it and wring a few hands. Not sure Purel works on typhus.

Ok, people not from here:

The typhus in this case is not from illegals. Not many illegals are on the streets. Most bunk up with multiple people in apartments. The typhus is from the mentally ill, drug addicted homeless population. It’s hard to tell what race these homeless people are, but most are white, lots of black downtown, but actually less Latino than the city population.

The typhus is from the feral people with mental illnesses and drugs.

Can you get vaccinated against it, in case you have to visit L.A.?

Did we have typhus outbreaks in 1960 or 1970? If not, what was different about those times? What did we do differently then to prevent such public health emergencies?

It was not accepted to have ferals living in cities. Period. What you allow, you get more of.

Two places I know that don’t allow homeless at all: Charleston, SC and Manhattan Beach, CA. Guess how many homeless they have there? Zero.

Not sure. I think there is a vax for typhoid. Typhus maybe not? Someone here should know.

Hmmm. I grew up in LA county and now live only outside the county barely.

The percentage of illegal kids in LA schools is about 80%. The highest amount of illegals in the state is in La County.

You re correct that the typhus is mostly a skid row problem involving homeless, drug abusers, out of state bums who vacation in our warm weather as well as a third world population that exists almost exclusively in downtown LA. While it is not illegals, per se, that are the cause of the problem the reality is that third world migrants, legal and otherwise, are not all vaccinated nor medically cleared for admission into The country.
