Jim I’m starting to think that our Prezzy doesn’t need any of the drama we’re seeing play out. He can build what he needs without any of them AS HE IS DOING NOW. I wen to the link you provided to FB and got more info that I’ve ever know before.

Starting this month (Feb), a second, taller (30 foot) bollard barrier begins construction 150 feet behind this new one. The enforcement zone (no man's land) between the barriers will have high speed patrol road for Border Patrol response, be lighted at night, under 24 hour video surveillance, and be alarmed with hidden sensors (essentially 100% detection). San Diego's border will be effectively closed by Christmas.

20 miles of new bollards completed, heading West from El Paso, TX
Four miles completed in downtown El Paso, TX.
West side of the Calexico, CA Port of Entry complete (East side starts in April). This segment led the Nation in attacks on Border Patrol officers - after the new bollards, it is quiet.
14 new segments have just been awarded in the last few months - 2019 will be a lot busier than last year.
New construction is scheduled to begin this month (Feb 2019) in several locations.
