LOUISVILLE, Ky. (AP) — Police in Kentucky say a Hindu temple in Louisville has been vandalized in a hate crime, its windows broken and walls covered in hateful messages. Louisville Metro Police Chief Steve Conrad tells The Courier Journal that “repugnant messages of hate” were spray-painted on its walls during a break-in this week. He says xenophobic and sexist messages were scrawled along with images of crosses and phrases such as “Jesus Is The Only God.” Someone spray-painted the eyes of a Hindu religious figure, with black paint dripping down the image’s face. Swaminarayan Temple officials say there is no video recording of the crime. The chief says an investigation is ongoing and officers will be at the temple on Sunday to ensure the community’s safety.

Of course not....it’s a HOAX. The Hindus I know wouldn’t see the need to clamor for victim status. I hope this bizarre need for that status isn’t contagious.
It seems possible that this is real.But very unlikely that Christians were responsible. Moslems hate Hindus almost as much as they hate Jews.

Obviously central_va knows that this is a basic tenet of the vast majority of Christian churches. Pretending otherwise is disingenuous.
In the Old Testament we see God referred to as “God,” “the Lord,” and “the Lord God.” There is not much distinction made between them. In the New Testament, “God” most often refers to the Father, and “the Lord” most often refers to the Son.
What distinguishes Jesus as God is that He is rightfully worshipped. We seen Him worshipped in the Gospels through Revelation. No other human can rightfully be worshipped because worshipping anyone or anything other than God is idolatry.
There are those who may be ignorant of Christ’s deity, but those who have investigated the matter and stubbornly persist in unrepentant rejection of Christ’s Lordship are reprobate and not regenerated believers. Christians are those who call upon the name of the Lord Jesus for salvation. This is THE distinguishing mark of a true believer.
This is repeated multiple times in the New Testament as a reference to calling upon Jesus, but is a quote from the Old Testament in which “Lord” is YaHWeH.
