Fun fact: The first modern medically recognized occupational ‘injury’ is an affliction known as “chimney-sweep scrotum”. The english habit of lowering young naked boys on rope harnesses into chimneys to scrub off the creosote laden soot caused carcinomas on their private parts.

That sounded so egregiously awful that I looked it up on Wikipedia to make sure it's for real.
