The Toledo area has had a huge mosque for decades, big Islamic population. Not far from Dearbornistan, either.

Islamic Center of Toledo? Is that the one at I-75/I-475 south side?

That thing is huge and just does not “fit” being plopped in the middle of farm ground up there.

It had been some time since traveling to Toledo, and I had somewhat forgotten about that mosque. Northbound on I-75, that structure looms seemingly out of nowhere. Strange.

And quite unnerving to see it.

Just south of town off of I-75. Makes you feel like you took a wrong turn and got off at the Baghdad exit.
