You beat me to it. The Dems want to imply that there’s a system in place to disenfranchise, and their brain dead base will believe it.
Apparently Dems think asking for ID and registering in advance is restricting voter rights and oppressing minority voters. They think you should just be able walk in to any precinct and say, “here I am, gimme my ballot!”
That’s pretty much what the Dems are trying to pass with HR1.
