Based on my experience, a person who is seriously racially biased can scarcely go a day without making some sort of racially-loaded comment. They have a way of bringing race into everything. Ironically (or perhaps not), the people who seem most inclined to introduce race into every discussion are leftists.

And for Trump to go 12 years without making any such comment is pretty remarkable. Even people who are racially tolerant and largely unbiased will occasionally make a comment along the lines of "That car is driving so slow - is it an Asian driving it?" or "I hope that Aunt Jemimah clerk at the social security office isn't working today."

That's why people who define themselves as "anti-something", in most cases are no better than those that are what they are anti about.

My father is an inveterate racist. The "N-word" flows off his tongue as naturally as any word. I don't think he was ever heard to refer to Obama as anything other than "that G-D N*****"". I don't see him much as we live in different states, but my sister says he has not changed. Maybe the natural instinct to rebel against one's parents moved me in a different direction than him. I do not know anyone else who talks like him (aside from rappers).

It's called "projection," isn't it? A closer examination of recent history will document an indisputable fact: Progressives, since the losses in the 2016 election, have projected Liberal/Progressive actions and activities onto Republican/Trump supporters as a means of deflecting potential consequences away from their own actions.

Perhaps they have done so under the old adage that if you repeat a lie often enough over a period of time, people will come to believe it to be the truth. Clever, but, like its underlying ideology, time will cause it to crumble.
