To Republicans, not allowing religious houses to arm themselves is like leaving them as lambs to a potential slaughter. But for Democrats, lifting the ban would mean putting worshippers at risk of themselves.
But Democrats saw it in a different light... "We are saying with this bill, we no longer trust in God," Virginia Democratic Sen. Lionell Spruill said. "We ... foolishly took prayer out of schools ... and now we want to take God out of church. If there's anywhere you can trust God, it should be the church. Let's depend on God on this one. Let's not take God out of church."

‘We’ (gun owners) should leave both of these alone before ‘they’ really screw us around.
If CNN can get away with ‘reporters hunch’ when they were at someones home at 0dark30, then I should be able to say ‘I had a hunch I should carry in church today’..
Besides....it is called CONCEALED CARRY for a reason

No kidding. As a Christian in Virginia, I find it impossible to follow the no guns in church law. We welcome you to worship w/us in Salem, Virginia. Where at least 10% of the congregation is packing. I’ll pray with you, for you and love all over you, but if you’re a demon possessed allah akhbarer looking to do us harm, we will grant you passage to your maker.
I pray that some of our members and/or deacons are packing.
CCW holders can also carry in a church in Virginia.

Same here. For years I have ignored their BS just like most people do.
States have their own laws about where actual citizens can carry - there’s some places that I conceal carry despite some of them rules...ain’t never shot nobody yet and been doing it for years.
There ya go. You do it right.
