The family of Covington Catholic High School student Nicholas Sandmann is going to sue the media.
And judging by what their new attorney said they could be starting with Ana Navarro.
It was Thursday when WCPO reported that the teen at the center of the scandal involving Native American and compulsive liar Nathan Phillips.

She is a horrible person. She wished for a racist, “brown wall” to stop President Trump from winning in 2016. It would be great to see her sued and to lose big.

Some here are saying “just do it”.
I am not a lawyer (nor do I play one on TV) but I suspect there is a process that needs to be followed before you go to court.
You need to let the potential defended know the true facts and give them time to respond (in this case the true facts were out within a day) and the potential defendants were given until Midnight to retract their statements and issue an apology.
The first opportunity to file suit is today.
So, we should know by the end of the day if the slow wheels of justice will be put into motion or not.
They can sue, and are going to sue, lots and lots of people for 1) libel, 2) defamation, 3) threats.
They are not stupid enough to sue for false reporting, because the bad guys are going to win cases like that.
So, what did Ana Navaro do or say that fits a real cause of action?
