a no-deal Brexit is better than the uncertainty there is now, but on every other term it is worse for the UK. financial services companies and IT services companies are already moving work out to Poland, Romania, etc. Financial services front-office and banking work is being moved to Dublin, Frankfurt and even Paris and Geneva. Manufacturing companies are already moving as are services companies.

Much of the British manufacturing industry relies on Europe-wide supply chains where parts criss-cross borders. With a no-deal Brexit, this ends. So companies are moving to the continent. Many non-European companies kept the UK as their base entry into the EU. But now they are moving to different countries in the EU -- such as Kimberley Clarke, etc.

A no-deal break is better than any sort of deal. May tried to snooker the brexiteers with a deal that would have preserved the liabilities of EU membership while eliminating any advantages of it.
