They always call it a tax. Fools a lot of people.

They always disguise unconstitutional things by giving them a nice name. Fascists at heart, they will stop at nothing to turn this country into communism.

That’s the commie M.O. Make it fail, so that the state (meaning the commie elites) “have to” take it over.

You know for the children, or your safety, or whatever.

Isn’t that always the angle they approach anything, nobody is capable of taking care of themselves so government has to “help”..

Article I, Section 8, Clause 1: The Congress shall have Power to lay and collect Taxes, Duties, Imposts and Excises, to pay the Debts and provide for the common Defence and general Welfare of the United States; but all Duties, Imposts and Excises shall be uniform throughout the United States.

“The Congress shall have Power to lay and collect Taxes” sure sounds to me like something that could encompass a national property tax.

And such a tax at a low level on the very wealthy IMO is more legitimate than taxing at a high level the income that someone without any wealth earns through his or her labor.

FDR stole everyone’s gold in 1933, and SCOTUS backed him up.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Executive_Order_6102

Executive Order 6102 is a United States presidential executive order signed on April 5, 1933, by President Franklin D. Roosevelt “forbidding the Hoarding of gold coin, gold bullion, and gold certificates within the continental United States”. The order was made under the authority of the Trading with the Enemy Act of 1917, as amended by the Emergency Banking Act the previous month.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gold_Clause_Cases

The Gold Clause Cases were a series of actions brought before the Supreme Court of the United States, in which the court narrowly upheld restrictions on the ownership of gold implemented by the administration of U.S. President Franklin D. Roosevelt in order to fight the Great Depression

Once again, we need to start campaigning for “Common Sense Socialism Control”.

Socialism violence is running rampant in our streets. Entire families are victims of the out of control proliferation of socialism. Even many of our children in schools fall victim to socialism every year.

We need national licensing of socialists after rigorous background checks to insure that those who want to own socialist materials are neither felons, the mentally ill, or child and spouse abusers. And there needs to be limits on how many books, pamphlets, DVDs and other socialist materials they can buy each month. And before a socialist license can be obtained, they must successfully complete 30 hours of anti-socialism training, as taught by people who they and their families had been horribly oppressed or even murdered by socialists.

Federal and state buildings, as well as businesses should be able to post enforceable “No Socialism Allowed” signs at their entrances.

Dan Quayle (who the Deep State did not want as President, so I assume he's a good guy) once said: "Let the government decide who is "high income" for taxation, and in time $30,000 will be high income". (paraphrasing)

Any new tax is a bad tax.

Senator Warren, as so many others do, abandoned what campaign promises got her elected. She was elected as someone who would make banking and financing more fair to middle and lower income people. It was not a message of confiscation of property, it was a message of cleaning up the banking mess.

This extreme won't win over the lunatic left, as they're ready to find someone to replace Bernie Sanders....progressive, a little bit Communist, not much into personal responsibility. Problem is, if President Trump doesn't get his act together, do that EO and protect the border, whatever lunatic they nominate will win.

Sorry, I think the income tax is so unfair that I’d take a trade off of lowering there to get at least closer to some sort of tax equity.

Something like no federal income tax below $200K would be more than 50% covered by Warren’s proposed tax. The rest and more should come from cuts, though of course there would be an increase in the economy by so cutting income taxes, meaning that likely 75-100% would ultimately be covered by Warren’s tax anyway.

The Left thinks your stuff does not belong to you. It belongs to the state. And they, being the enlightened ruling class, should decide how to use it.

They are self-righteous in their thievery.

“Any new tax is a bad tax.“ I’ll suggest a new tax you may like; how about a across the board 10% flat tax? No deductions, tax credits, corporate, child, home, exemptions, etc, etc. btw, if you’re wondering why Castro’s 70% tax rate idea has gained so much traction it’s because the Takers now outnumber the Makers. Another way to put it is there’s now more people riding in the wagon than there are pulling the wagon. Bad Bad situation 😡...

Collects Taxes for the Banking Dynasties

A flat tax with no exemptions or deductions is more fair than an incremental tax, especially with all kinds of exemptions. With a flat tax, everyone has some skin in the game. Besides that, people aren't punished for succeeding.

When President Trump was campaigning, that was what he was advocating....a flatter tax with less deductions.

The republic has been slowly dying from the wound inflicted by Roosevelt and his New Deal.
