Well it is okay for my husband. His cholesterol is low and red blood cell count is low. So beef (red meat) is good for him.
Me on the other hand, I’m always close to the edge with cholesterol and being given Statins. So, the husband eats steaks and I eat chicken.

There are studies showing higher cholesterol levels are good for you to avoid strokes. Take science with a grain of salt and do research on the internet.

Im always close to the edge with cholesterol and being given Statins. If you are boarderline high with cholesterol you might try Cholestoff...its made from pine bark, and is over the counter
Note also the FDA came out a year or so ago that Statins can cause bad decision making in elders.
Regarding Cholestoff...maybe that's why goat meat is low in cholesterol...goats like to gnaw on pine bark and love pine needles with attached twigs.
