Pat, I thought that picture was funny as Hell!
It truly was this way! In my house, even today, but at least I use a variety of cool whip, butter, margarine and other store-bought plastic containers. I like those store-bought ones (holds potato, chicken or seafood salad, etc.) best as they’re semi-transparent, and I see what’s in them.
This past Thanksgiving, I didn’t buy a cool whip for the pumpkin pie as we already had one. Well, when we finally got to desert after the turkey, we pulled out the pie and the cool whip, opened the cool whip and—moldy spaghetti!
