This is the Sunday Morning Talk Show Thread Ping List! If you want to be on it, reply to this post or FReepmail me (in case I miss it). If you want to be taken off, simply send me a FReepmail.

I won't say what I'm REALLY thinking, but I will leave a picture to illustrate my thought that at some point, violence IS the only way, like on April 19th, 1775:

Well if that mess involving some kind of fake Native American Rabble Rouser and a Catholic kid whose major crime was wearing a MAGA hate….doesn't that lie that went round the world just top it all.

>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

Nick Sandmann, a student from Covington Catholic High School in Kentucky, was seen smugly staring at Nathan Phillips while his peers stared down the vet as he sang the American Indian Movement song on the steps of the Lincoln Memorial.

The teen, who was part of a group of students wearing “Make America Great Again” hats, said that both he and his family have received death threats following the highly publicized incident.

Since going viral on Saturday, new video has emerged that provides further context to the situation that unfolded, depicting members of a group identifying themselves as the Black Hebrew Israelites that were shouting abuse at the students.

From "

<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<

The very wonderful Bill Crystal had some nasty things to say about this innocent kid, the creep he is, he should join the FBI.

Some dopey Democrat politico said that the MAGA hats should be banned, committing a Freudian slip heard across the fruited plains.

Tweets were deleted everywhere as this very well-behaved kid from Kentucky was mistreated by those lovely Hebrew Black Indonesians ISIS members then the Native American, who had allegedly been attacked at a college fraternity "Indian" party.

Heh.

They're going to have to start sitting down and document their lies lest they repeat.

And don't we all love Bill Crystal?

----------------

Heh.

So now the demand is out, led by Bill Crystal, to force Chris Coons to change his name.

>>>>>>>>>>>>> For us to truly move forward, U.S. Senator Chris Coons, who was a firm supporter of our movement to push the NFL on changing the name of the Redskins, must change his surname. We believe there is no difference in having a name associated with a past of slave-ownership and "accidentally" using a slur during live broadcast. <<<<<<<<<<<<<<<

Ban our hats, force us to change our names? How they going to accomplish all that?

------------------------

Kamala Harris throws hate in ring.

>>>>>>>>>>>>>

Harris, a 54-year-old former prosecutor raised in a state that has been the crucible of the Trump resistance, expanded a growing field of candidates fighting for the nomination of a party that is increasingly nonwhite and fueled by women alienated by the president. <<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<

California is such an example of how a state should be run.

Rumor is campaign manager being considered is…

Of course…BILLY CRYSTAL!

Martin Luther King Day

Yesterday was celebration of Martin Luther King's birthday.

Ah yes. I was in my teens when MLK came into the news.

He had a dream. I listened to his dream.

Because back then black people really were banned from eating in certain establishments, forced to use "colored bathrooms, yes, treated like second-class citizens.

Maybe I was a youthful liberal with stars in her eyes, but it was unfair. And I marched with them. I held hands across America.

Martin Luther King was my hero.

Billy Crystal despised the man.

The big news of the day is the Supreme Court ruling that the presidential order to keep transgenders out of the military for now has been upheld.

There is expected to be a final Supreme court ruling on this matter after a final ruling by the NY federal court.

Until then, Steve does not replace Stephanie in the army.

>>>>>>>>>>>>

The Supreme Court on Tuesday granted the Trump administration's request to allow it to temporarily enforce its restrictions on transgender people serving in the military. The court, however, did not agree to review the legality of the new policy until the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals has issued a ruling. <<<<<<<<<<<<<<

The only movie I saw last year was "Chappaquiddick", starring that Lion of the Senate, Ted Kennedy.

That movie was not listed anywhere below for an Academy Award.

Below, some of the more interesting nomination for this year's Academy Awards.

Pic of week

------------------------

It's political news, in a manner of speaking.

Anthony Scaramucci on Celebrity Big Brother.

"The Mouch", as he is called affectionately, worked at the White House as PR leader, for about a week.

I think he is very handsome and is everything from writing books to being a political pundit to ….well Celebrity Big Brother.

He could be my grandson but I will think of him as handsome and a risk-taker.

The latest on the SOTU speech, originally scheduled for 1/29/19 in the House of Representatives.

Then Pelosi, lovely woman, my childhood friend, took back her permission to use the People's House for the speech.

President Trump then denied Pelosi use of government aircraft for some trip around the world with evil behind it.

Then Trump said he will speak in the House based on Pelosi's original offer.

As of this writing, Pelosi says Trump is still NOT invited to do his SOTU speech in the House of Representatives.

Children. They act like children those Democrats. We elected Trump and we are deplorable, they shoot our representatives, they send in fake American Indians to harass our children.

They will not win this battle.

They will not win.

--------------

---------------------------------

Friday date--1/25/19

-------------------

So it's final. The State of the Union address will NOT be delivered this upcoming 1/29/19. When it is finally delivered, at a point when the wonderful gubmint is open, it WILL be in the House of Representatives.

For a while it was up and down with President Trump scheduling a mass rally in Russia and Pelosi flying around the world.

The date of the SOTU is not now known but Trump will have it in America's House.

---------------

What the hell is going on in Venezuela?

Does anybody remember Hugo Chavez? I know he died but Russia and its friends ran him and now runs his alleged successor.

Venezuela has the largest reserves of oil on the planet. The people of that country are now eating their pets, such is their hunger.

Socialism. It never works.

I sure hope America doesn't get involved in that mess. People have got to make changes to their lives on their own. America cannot run the world.

-----------------

New York enacted a new abortion law that…a)turns over abortion as a public health matter, not a criminal one. B)allows non-doctors to perform abortions. C)allows abortions up through birth if the mother's life is endangered and the baby will not live outside the womb.

Or something.

They love abortion, those liberals.

Now we can murder them right up to the day before birth.

Saturday date-1/26/19

-----------------

Yesterday was not such a good day for Conservatives across the fruited plain.

First, former Trump presidential campaign advisor Roger Stone awoke to almost 20 FBI agents, guns drawn, banging on doors and screaming "FBI".

Seems he pulled the tag off his mattress and wore a MAGA hat to bed.

Guy had nothing to do with colluding with Russia. Something about Wikileaks which had nothing to do with invading some Democratic server to get at Hillary's email.

THROW THEM IN JAIL!

Soon it shall be you or I.

We know the FBI are sweet, honest, gentle fellows. Poor Stone was already out on bail. There was no need for the theatrics.

But the kind, sweet, lovable FBI gotta show who's boss.

------------------------

President Trump announced yesterday a 2 week settlement to open the gubmint.

Can't live without the gubmint. Can't live without the gubmint.

These people are receiving back pay for the time they did not work.

The Republicans…..air between the legs.

Oh, and no funding for the immoral wall of Pelosi.

Implied was that Trump would resort to emergency measures to build the wall if an agreement was not reached by 2/15/19.

Yeah. Trust the Democrats. That will work.

Thanks for thread A. B. The Donald is in much need of our prayers, now more than ever. He is embarked on a perilous journey without much help (as Winston would say: “Alone.”)

And Mitch still delays confirmation of judges even with 53 votes

Related to the drum beater guy:

I saw a reference that the Southern Poverty Law Center had identified drum beater guy's group as a terrorist organization. So why do media types support the guy un the first place?

Drum beater guy (on a good day) looks like a strung out, magic mushroom meth head beating on a drum. The only part of the stereotype he was missing was a shopping cart carrying all of his worldly possessions.

And a sign: "If Jesse Jackson saw me coming down the street beating my drum he would cross the street, even if there was a gang of black kids on the other side."

Did anyone hear Hewitt say this on Meet the dePressed?

He thinks the “US solving the Venezuelan political unrest will be THE crisis that unites our country and brings us all together as one.”

Wow....what kind of universe is he living in? He has become nuttier since he moved to the DC area.

I think Venezuela is a powder keg with both China and Russia protecting their assets there.
