Never. I love the pawn sacrifice. A total onslaught by my pawns will throw my opponent into disarray...if they are properly deployed...and keep them from continuing with whatever opening they have in mind.

It was not a cave, it was a time-out called while the referee reviews the tapes of the last play.

Definitely a couple of penalty calls are in order.

Bobby Fischer was famous for sacrificing more than just pawns in various gambit maneuvers and he was the best chess player during his heyday.

When me and my brother played chess as teens, i would knock all the pieces over if he captured my queen. Game over. Since he liked to play, and win, he would let me keep the queen, and win anyway.
