“....and he will lose the election with nothing going on on the wall....”
This idea that President Trump’s reelection depends solely on whether the wall gets built is simplistic at best.
It is true that building the wall was a key campaign promise, and that he must be seen as a “promise keeper” in order to retain his base of support and to attract crossovers disappointed in the Democrat party.
In my opinion, Donald Trump has already more than earned the title “promise keeper” - and that title is earned not only for what he’s accomplished but also for his efforts. After all, he’s not a King - he heads up one of three coequal branches of government. He is turning the Judicual branch conservative (as promised), but We the People have a responsibility to elect like-minded MAGA leaders to the legislature - and we have not accomplished that. That is not the President’s failure.
I think POTUS will be easily reelected - wall or no wall - as long as he keeps trying to keep his promises - I assume he will.
Remember, even for those of us who consider the wall to be their “single issue” - Donald Trump is still going to be our best prospect for getting a wall in 2020. He’ll still get our vote.
You're right, he has more power than any King who has ever lived, too bad he hasn't learned to use that power.
Hell still get our vote.

I don't think it will be enough. When you take into consideration he lost the popular vote by 80,000, and you ad 4 years to the age of the millions of anchor babies who are here and will eligible to vote in 2020, I see no clear guarantee of victory.
If he doesn’t tell the court they have no standing on the wall, he will never build the wall.
He can’t claim an emergency when the situation has been going on for two decades. And two years under him with no declaration.
