“When its all theyre taught in public schools and university,...”
And also at home.
1. Idealism due to inexperince and naivety about the world.
2. They are more of a beneficiary of such a system at their age.
3. Most of their lives they have not worked and earned whats been given to them.
4. Biased education talks up socialism ignoring real life problems of it, while demonizing all other forms.
A few real life examples would stop them from being socialists forever. Grade sharing where your A gets reduced to a C togive the girl who got an F up to a C.
Follow the link below from Wikipedia. It shows in detail over 100 million at least killed by Marxism. It is probably much greater. It should also be noted that these totals do not include the deaths due to NAZI Germany. NAZI means “Nationalist Socialist German Workers Party” The Nazi’s would easily put another 20 million into the total.

Democratic Socialism always morphs into tyrannical Marxism.
Many Socialist point to Norway, Sweden and Denmark as successful examples of Socialism. They are totally incorrect. These nations have a vibrant capitalistic society that has accepted high taxes to support a generous welfare program. The people voted for it. At the same time they realized that private industry is the support of their economy. Until the recent tax cuts for business during the Trump administration our tax rate on industry was higher than in Scandinavian nations.
Conservative Inc. sold out the middle class and closed 55,000 factories and laid off their parents. Globalism killed conservatism dead.
As as Catholic student I was interested in social justice and was interested in the experiments conducted in other countries with things like socialized medicine.
I've learned the hard way not to be the frog trying to save the scorpion from drowning because it'll drown you too. There's a lot of villainy, dishonesty, moral corruption out there. It's more commonplace than I knew from my experience growing up.
Do little kids today ever read The Little Red Hen, or is it on the list of prohibited, anti-social books now?
Agreed, however it takes maturity to appreciate capitalism and freedom to have charity.
Children just want a parent substitute to feed them. Socialism is Mommy on steroids.
Because they are ignorant of history and economics.
Because they are immature, stunted people.
They need a new "Mommy" when Mom and Dad send them out into the real world ill-equipped to deal with anything more complicated than an untied shoelace.
The state is that "Mommy."
PCBs in the water supply.
LOL
They gotta think, If you take everything from the wealthiest there wont be enough money to run the country for a month, and those in need will get very little when divided up. and the wealthy will have very little and won’t work anymore.

Because they are LAZY. Nobody in socialist countries really work hard, unless they literally have a gun pointed to their heads. The want an easy way out and excuse for being non-performers.
The major reason I might observe, is that from the Clintons through the Obama’s, their college education debts were structured to place them in lifetime bondage, while eliminating as many well paying entry level jobs to qualified graduates. The unusable degrees, such as in Transgender Studies or you name it, tended to stroke the welfare system and procure the min wage jobs to an extent that full time was further reduced to part time without full time benefits.
Many in Obama’s empire had no future other than socialized living, and any capitalism was attacked mercilessly by the socialists.
Of course they now is a whiplash of past socialists turned die hard conservative. The socialists soon forget they can no longer fool the people who worked their systm from the bottom up who saw their faults.
Because they are young, stupid (in spite of or because of their education) and sadly easily manipulated. Their utter ignorance is a failure of our generation to properly educate and discipline them. They are pathetic.
Because they want everything handed to them and don’t want to work for it. The Gen X’ers and Millennials quit jobs at the drop of hat when something doesn’t go their way. They think Socialism will just give them stuff without paying for it.
